Before y'all begin

Have a Phillips-head screwdriver, tweezers or needle-nose pliers, and a not-marring flat-bladed tool, or similar prying tool.
Turn off the computer. Disconnect the Ethernet or modem cablevision. Disconnect the power cord.

Removing the power button board

Follow the steps in this section to remove the ability button lath.

Step four Using minimal strength, lift the locking bar upwardly on the power push board ZIF connector...
...and disconnect the power push lath ribbon cablevision from the organisation lath.
Pace 5 Using a non-marring prying tool, remove the power button board ribbon cablevision from the adhesive that secures it to the top cover.
Step 6 Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the ability button board to the elevation cover.
Pace vii Lift the ability button board off of the alignment pins on the pinnacle cover.
Step viii Identify the power button lath into a static dissipative handbag.

Replacing the power push board

Use the steps in this department to replace the power push lath.

Step ane Remove the power button board from the static dissipative pocketbook.
Step 2 Place the power button board onto the alignment pins on the top cover.
Step 3 Using a Phillips-caput screwdriver, supercede the screw that secures the power button board to the acme cover.
Step four Using tweezers or a pair of needle-nose pliers, insert the power button board ribbon cable into the power push button lath ZIF connector on the system board...
